Aha! I got your attention (or at least the pictures did).
I am not traveling to Tanzania just because this is a beautiful country – though it is. I am not traveling to Tanzania just to see another part of the world that I’ve never been to – though it’s true that I’ve not been there before. I am not even traveling to Tanzania because that is where Children of Promise directors Mike and Heather Webb invested several years as missionaries. I am traveling to Tanzania for fifteen days in June in order to encourage the local leaders, to interview children in the program, and to see first-hand what a wonderful difference Children of Promise is making in the lives of well over 500 kids in that country.
Children of Promise was conceived and birthed in 1992, and my wife, Kathleen, and I have been pleased to sponsor CofP children since January, 1993. Since then the program has grown from being in (I think) six countries to now serving educational, nutritional, medical, and spiritual needs of around 5,000 children in (currently) 33 different countries.(and expanding).
I invite you to travel vicariously with me! You too can be a part of this ministry that brings the hope of Jesus to so many of His beloved children! Any donations to my campaign – regardless of size – will be greatly appreciated! And they will also benefit the ongoing ministry of CofP. Gifts may be given online, or by texting 765-627-2637. Should you prefer donating by check, please include a note or post-it-note which includes my name and mail to: Children of Promise, PO Box 2316, Anderson IN 46018. (All donations are fully tax-deductible.)
I also invite you to please pray for me and for the entire team, that God will speak to and through each of us, for His glory!
Blessings!
