Eimy is five years old and lives in Northern Peru with her mother, Liz, and her siblings in a small adobe home with a cement floor. She loves playing with dolls and painting bright pictures. At church, she listens closely to Bible stories and hears the prayer requests for the ill. In communities like Eimy’s, resources are scarce and seeing a doctor is a luxury. Eimy wants to become a doctor so she can care for others in her community.
