The Meena Project is a residential safe house for girls growing up in the community of Daulatdia. Through the Meena Project, the girls will have access to nutrition, education, healthcare, and discipleship and the hope of a future outside the largest brothel in Bangladesh. Sponsorship is $50/month for each girl. Because of the vulnerability of the girls’ living situation, their pictures will not be posted on our website. Please fill out the form below to indicate your commitment to sponsoring a girl at the Meena Project. Someone from our office will reach out to you to finalize the details of your sponsorship. Girls living at the Meena Project are school aged daughters of women who are trapped in a cycle of human trafficking in Daulatdia, Bangladesh. Daulatdia is the largest brothel in Bangladesh and possibly the largest in the world. Without a father’s name to list on the birth certificate, children have a difficult time gaining entrance into school. Without an education, the chance for a different future is extremely difficult to pursue. Girls are especially vulnerable to being trapped in the work of the brothel as their mothers and grandmothers “age out.”
